Exploring the Landscape of AI Assistants

I have been a passive user of ChatGPT for a few years now, including building a couple of small projects - Baking Queries and AI ChatMate - using Open AI's APIs.

However, now that there are so many players in the AI Assistant space such as X' Grok, Anthropic's Claude, Meta's Meta AI etc, I wonder:

  • Are they all solving the same problem? If so, how do they differentiate and stand out?

  • How do they position themselves?

  • How do they compete with one another?

  • As a user, why would I choose one over the others?

Therefore, I plan to explore these apps over the coming weeks. I will study these apps through Meeako and share my thoughts here.
